18 – 25 years: Mental health and stress management
Imagine that you are facing an important decision, but you feel pressure from all sides. How do you respond to that?
I will find a quiet place and try to sort out my thoughts.
I'll call someone I trust to hear their perspective.
I will start to act impulsively to quickly resolve the situation.
I am postponing the decision and hoping that the situation will resolve itself.
I am analyzing all the options, but I still can't make a decision.
How do you react when you feel that no one understands you?
I express my feelings through art, sports, or other creative forms.
I am withdrawing into myself and trying to process it on my own.
I am angry and expressing my frustration outwardly.
I'm looking for someone who would listen to me, even if they are a stranger.
I will stop trying to explain and change the topic.
If you could express your current stress through an image, what would it look like?
A dark tunnel with a small light at the end.
A labyrinth where I can't find a way out.
Raging sea with big waves.
A crowded room where it is hard to breathe.
The shattered reflection of my own face.
What helps you the most when you feel that you are under pressure?
Physical activity, such as running or going to the gym.
Music or creative activities that allow me to unwind my mind.
A conversation with a close person who will listen to me without judgment.
Focusing on routines and practical tasks that give me a sense of control.
Disconnecting from the world – sleep, games, movies, or social media.
When you get into a conflict, what is your first reaction?
I am trying to analyze the situation and understand the perspectives of all parties involved.
I express my feelings and expect the other party to understand them.
I would rather step back, even if it means suppressing my opinion.
I allow myself to be dominated by emotions and I react impulsively.
I will leave to take time to think, but I will not return to the topic.
How do you behave when you feel that you have too many responsibilities?
I am trying to systematically plan and prioritize everything.
I will start tackling smaller tasks so that I have at least something completed.
I completely disconnect and do something completely different to relax.
I'm panicking, but at the same time, I know that I'll manage somehow.
I've been thinking about it for a long time, but in the end, I'm just procrastinating.
If you could express your current mental state in one word, what would it be?
Torn.
Overloaded.
Seeker.
Resilient.
Confused.
How do you usually explain your own failures?
I take it as part of learning and experience for the future.
I blame myself and think about what I could have done differently.
I feel that the circumstances, which I could not influence, are also to blame.
I try not to think about it and rather suppress it.
I am looking for a deeper meaning in it to justify it to myself.
What do you think about someone showing their weakness?
It is a sign of sincerity and self-reflection.
It is important to know to whom I will show my weakness.
Everyone has their weak moments, but they shouldn't show them.
It could be a risk because some people might misuse it.
It is better to appear strong, even when I don't feel that way.
If you could choose any mental state for the next month, what would it be?
A peaceful mind without unnecessary worries.
Self-confidence and certainty in every decision.
The ability to be emotionally stable regardless of the circumstances.
Greater creativity and the ability to solve problems innovatively.
Carefreeness and the ability to enjoy the present moment more.
