Building self-confidence in public speaking and improving communication skills.
Imagine that you are stepping onto a stage in front of a large audience. What is your first thought?
"This is my opportunity to shine."
"I hope nobody notices if my hands start shaking."
"What if I forget what I'm supposed to say?"
"I will try to survive and finish as soon as possible."
"I am looking forward to interacting with the audience!"
How do you envision the ideal audience?
People who listen to me with enthusiasm and respond to my words.
A group of professionals who take me seriously.
Just a few close friends in front of whom I am not afraid to speak.
Silent and non-judgmental faces that will not criticize me.
Nobody, I would rather talk to an empty room.
If you could choose any superpower to master public speaking, what would it be?
The ability to immediately engage and persuade people.
Unlimited memory, so I never forget what to say.
Invisibility, so I can leave if something goes wrong.
Absolute control over voice and body language.
The ability to immediately sense the mood of the audience and respond to it.
How do you react when you receive an unexpected question from the audience?
I will respond with enthusiasm and use it as an opportunity to engage.
I buy time by repeating the question and thinking about the answer.
I will maintain calm, even if I am unsure of the answer.
I'm starting to panic and I hope someone will help me.
I feel anxious, but I pretend to be confident and improvise.
Imagine that you make a mistake during a speech. What will you do?
I'll laugh about it and move on.
I apologize and I will try to correct the mistake.
I feel uncertain, but I try not to show it.
I will focus solely on not making another mistake.
I will try to divert the audience's attention to a different topic.
If you could choose a metaphor for your communication, what would it be?
A spark that ignites enthusiasm in others.
The lake's surface is calm, yet deep.
Roller coaster – sometimes smooth, sometimes chaotic.
Toolbox – I always try to adapt to the situation.
Shadow - I prefer to stay in the background and observe what is happening.
What type of speaker or communicator do you admire the most?
Someone who can tell stories captivatingly.
Someone who acts confidently and authoritatively.
Someone who is authentic and natural.
Someone who is funny and knows how to lighten the situation.
Someone who speaks briefly and to the point.
If you had to describe your inner voice before a performance, what would it say?
"Today I will give an excellent performance!"
"Breathe, you can do it."
"Just make sure not to make any mistakes."
"Why did I even get into this?"
"Maybe I'll enjoy it... but maybe not."
How do you envision the ideal way to prepare for a public speaking engagement?
Practicing speech in front of a mirror or recording oneself.
Analyze the content and prepare thorough notes.
Simulate stressful situations to get used to them.
Visualize a successful performance and motivate yourself.
Don't think about it too much, let it come across naturally.
If you had one sentence to motivate yourself before a performance, what would it be?
"I have something to offer, and people want to listen to it."
"Every performance makes me better and more confident."
"Just survive those few minutes and it will all be over."
"No one will notice my mistakes as much as I think."
"My words can really help someone."
