Career goals and motivation
Imagine that you are at the beginning of your career. What type of environment can you envision as ideal for your work?
A creative environment that fosters independence and innovation.
A structured and formal environment where goals and procedures are clearly defined.
A flexible environment where I can work on various projects at my discretion.
A workplace where I constantly learn new things and can develop.
An environment where I can be a leader and make decisions on important issues.
If you had to take responsibility for a project at work, what would your approach be to the team?
I will divide the work according to the individuals' abilities and let them work independently.
I will create a detailed plan and monitor each step of the project to ensure everything is completed on time.
I will create an open and flexible communication with the team so that everyone can express themselves and contribute.
I will start a project and adapt to new circumstances while working.
I will focus on motivating the team and inspiring them to achieve the best results.
What is your stance on financial rewards at work?
Money is very important and should be fairly rewarded for work.
Financial reward is not my primary motivation; experience and growth are more important.
They are important, but the challenges and opportunities for development are paramount for me.
I prefer the stability and security that financial rewards bring.
If they are high enough, they can be a strong motivation for hard work.
How do you feel when achieving your career goals?
I feel great satisfaction and motivation to continue further.
I am more of a realist and I know that not everything will go as I would like.
I feel that there is always more to achieve, which is why I am never completely satisfied.
I feel fulfilled but also a bit tired from constantly achieving goals.
I am only satisfied when my successes bring concrete changes or impact.
What is your stance on changes in working conditions or approaches?
Changes are an opportunity for improvement; I enjoy adapting to new circumstances.
I like stability and changes can disturb me, but I will adapt if they are necessary.
Changes are something I often resist, as I prefer proven methods.
I welcome changes as a challenge and a new way to grow.
When changes are too frequent, I feel confused and need time to adapt.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years in your career?
I would lead my own company or project that would have a significant impact on the industry.
I would continue in my current position, but with greater responsibilities.
I would like to be in a position that allows me flexibility and more free time.
I want to continue learning and acquiring new skills, so I envision a more specialized role.
I would like to have a stable career, but more time dedicated to personal projects.
What kind of recognition is the most important to you?
Publicity and recognition from the public or colleagues for my work.
Personal recognition from my supervisor or team that I have met expectations.
The feeling that I have achieved my goals and that it has a real impact on the organization.
Balance between work and personal life that shows I have control over my time.
Independence in decision-making and respect from colleagues for what I do.
If you had to choose between stability and risk in your career, what would you choose?
Risk - I believe that high rewards come only with challenges.
Stability – for me, it is important to have certainty and predictability.
It depends on the situation, but I would often choose stability with the possibility of gradual growth.
Risk, but with reasonable planning and strategy.
I prefer stability, but when I see an opportunity, I am willing to take reasonable risks.
When do you feel the most motivated at your work?
When I have a clear goal to which I can aim and I see gradual progress.
When a new challenge opens up before me, which I can tackle in an interesting way.
When I can collaborate with a creative team and achieve results together.
When I see the direct impact of my work on other people or the organization.
When I have the opportunity to advance in the hierarchy or take on new responsibilities.
If you were to receive a job offer that is not in line with your long-term career goals, what would you do?
If the offer provided immediate benefits, I would consider it, but with a long-term perspective on my career.
I would reject her because I want to remain true to my goals and values.
I would consider the options that this position would offer me, even though it does not align with my goals.
I would accept it because even from such a position, you can learn something valuable.
I wouldn't accept it unless there was a clear path on how it would align with my goals.
