Attitude towards technologies and innovations
Imagine that a completely new technology emerges that could fundamentally change the way we live. What is your first reaction?
I feel excitement and immediately think about how I could use it.
I want to understand all the benefits and risks first before I accept it.
I have doubts because new things often bring unexpected problems.
I feel more anxiety – I like certainty and stability.
I don't perceive it as significant; life goes on even without new technologies.
How would you react if an artificial intelligence was introduced in your job that could change your work responsibilities?
I see an opportunity to learn something new and be more efficient.
First, I would like to know how it will affect my place in the team.
I would be afraid that I would become less important.
I would feel frustration – change means a challenge that I may not be ready for.
I wouldn't take it too seriously; there is always a way to adapt.
If you could invest in one of these future areas, which one would you choose?
Biotechnology – pushing the boundaries of human health and life.
Artificial Intelligence - automation and intelligent solutions.
Renewable energy sources – a sustainable future for the planet.
Space exploration – new horizons for humanity.
I wouldn't choose any, investments in the future are uncertain.
Imagine that your close friend believes in conspiracy theories about technology. How would you react?
I would try to explain the facts to him, even though it might be difficult.
I would try to understand his concerns and discuss with him.
I would rather avoid the debate, not everyone is open to changing their mind.
I would feel anger because distrust in progress frustrates me.
I would let him have his opinion, everyone has the right to believe what they want.
If you were offered the opportunity to be part of testing a new technological invention, how would you react?
I would enthusiastically participate and want to be among the first to try it out.
First, I would find out more about it and consider all aspects.
I would wait until others test it and it shows whether it is safe.
I should have concerns about the potential risks, so I would decline.
I don’t see a reason why I would get involved in something like that.
How would you envision the ideal balance between technology and nature in the future?
Technologies should serve to protect and restore nature.
We should use technology but maintain our closeness to nature.
Humans should return more to nature and slow down technological development.
I see no reason to limit technological progress.
The future is in complete connection with the digital world, and nature will adapt.
Imagine that you could travel through time and see the technological future 100 years from now. What would interest you the most?
How has everyday life changed for people?
How far has artificial intelligence and automation advanced?
Whether we have finally started to colonize space.
What are the consequences of technology on nature and society?
Whether humanity has survived technological development.
If you had the option to implant a chip in your brain that would improve your memory and learning, what would you do?
I would jump right into it, as it is the future of education.
I would like to know more about the long-term effects, and then I would make a decision.
I don't like the idea of technological interventions in the body.
I should be afraid of possible manipulation and loss of privacy.
I would think about it, but I would probably decline it.
If you could choose one technological skill that you would want to master at an expert level, what would it be?
Programming – creation of software and applications.
Data analysis – understanding patterns and predictions.
Cybersecurity - protection of the digital world.
Robotics – creation and design of intelligent machines.
I do not need technological skills; I prefer to focus on other areas.
How do you feel at the thought that some human activities will be completely replaced by robots in the future?
I perceive it as a necessary progress and I am ready for it.
I am interested in what impact this will have on society and employment.
I am concerned that people will lose their value and creativity.
I think we should set boundaries on what should remain in human hands.
I am skeptical, I don't believe that robots can fully replace humans.
