How to develop creativity through handcraft activities
Imagine that you have a free Saturday and in front of you lies an old wooden box. What will you do first?
I will start taking it apart – I want to understand how it was made.
I will take a brush and paints – it will be something completely different.
I sit down next to her and let my thoughts flow – inspiration will come on its own.
I will call a friend – such a project is better in pairs.
I'll put it off for later – I first need to think about what I actually want.
What material would most attract you for crafting with your hands?
Clay – I love being in contact with nature and the change of shape.
Wood - a solid yet malleable material that requires respect.
Paper - lightness, layers, possibilities.
Textiles – colors, textures, movement.
Metal – precision, challenge, durability.
What best captures the feeling of "creative flow" for you?
When I forget about time and surrounding sounds.
When an image appears in my mind and my hands know what to do.
When something goes wrong repeatedly, but I don't give up.
When something moves me internally, even if no one else sees it.
When something arises that I can't explain in words, but I feel that it is mine.
How would you react if someone told you that your work has no "meaning"?
I will think about it – maybe he/she is right.
I will smile - everyone has their own perspective.
I will get angry - that was a personal blow.
I will consider whether I can show him what I mean.
I don't do it for meaning, but for the feeling – and that is real.
Which moment in the creative process brings you the greatest satisfaction?
The very beginning – everything is still possible.
When I come up with a solution to something that has been bothering me.
When someone says that it has "soul."
When I see the progress compared to where I started.
When I can destroy something to create something new.
Which of these statements would you probably write on your desk?
"Perfection arises from the removal of the unnecessary."
"Let yourself be guided by the material."
"Silence is the beginning of creation."
"Errors are part of the story."
"Create without expectation."
How do you react when something inspires you?
I need to write it down or sketch it out.
I am creating something immediately, even if it's just from the paper on the table.
I share it with someone – inspiration should spread.
I'll let it mature within me for a while, then I'll act.
I will find out why it actually inspired me – what it triggered within me?
Imagine that your hands forgot how to create. What would you do?
I would go for a walk – nature heals.
I would start cutting or gluing something aimlessly.
I would be looking for old things that I have already done.
I would write down how I feel – maybe there’s something deeper behind it.
I would take a break – creation has its own rhythm.

Craftsman in a quiet studio.
The alchemist who combines unexpected elements.
Observer who perceives subtle details.
A guide that leads others to their creativity.

Forgetting the plan – I let things flow.
