Confidence also begins with children getting to know their feelings, strengths, and what helps them handle new situations each day.
Every child responds to challenges in their own way. Some need a little time to think, while others feel calmer after talking things through or breaking a task into smaller steps. When you talk with your child about what went well and what they found difficult, they can better understand their needs. They’ll also start to notice their own progress and find ways to approach the next attempt with greater confidence.
