An interview is a conversation between two people, not a test of your worth. Learn to listen, talk about your experience, and manage stress.
An interview brings together the employer’s expectations and your own ideas about the job. You don’t have to compare yourself with every other applicant or pretend to have experience you don’t. What matters is listening carefully, giving specific answers, and showing what you’ve learned at school, in a part-time job, or while working on a shared task. When you see the interview as an exchange of information, it’s easier to speak in your own voice and decide whether the role might be right for you.
